Vintage Mid-Century Modern Expansive Executive Walnut Desk. This desk has it all the weight, the materials, the beauty, the power. Featuring Steel Parallel Bar Legs and crossbar with Rosewood inserts, cross slats, and feet. 2 writing pullouts, one on either side and 2 Deep Rectangular Storage Drawers. All the pulls are Large thick old growth dark Rosewood (Palisander.) All other surfaces are thick walnut.
Solid Wood Construction. This design resembles a early fifties Knoll International prototype desk by Florence Knoll. However, we believe this to be from the woodworking region around New Hope PA, a skilled craftsman must have built this wonderful desk on order from a New York City Executive, Absolutely no expense was spared in it's construction. You will not be disappointed. Very Good Vintage Condition.
