Charles Eames for Zenith Plastics/Herman Miller, Venice CA, c.1951. Rare Fiberglass-Pressboard Armshell. Zenith Plastics used the same material used for the old radar dishes, a kind of a fiberglass/fiberboard blend. This Armshell was made with that material, with the first generation large zenith puck mounts. Beautiful example here with a blue vinyl cover, on a Zinc Eiffel Twoer Base. Excellent condition.
